Kenneth H. Kessler, Ph.D., MSCP is an Associate Professor at Ë®ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Franklin University of Medicine and Science (RFUMS) and has faulty appointments in the College of Nursing, Chicago Medical School and the College of Health Professions. He joined the RFUMS faculty in 2007. Dr. Kessler earned his PhD in Clinical Psychology from Finch University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School in 1995 and completed his doctoral internship at the Ë®ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ VA Medical Center. He has also completed a Master of Science in Clinical Psychopharmacology at Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2019 and a Prescribing Psychologist Fellowship at AMITA Health/Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health in 2021. Dr. Kessler has been active in the RFUMS Global Health Program for a number of years and, as of 2024, is the Director of the Office of Interprofessional Global Health at RFUMS. Dr. Kessler is licensed as a Clinical Psychologist, Prescribing Psychologist and Clinical Counselor in Illinois. He is the former Chair of the Clinical Counselor Licensing and Disciplinary Board in Illinois and also the former Chair of the Clinical Psychologist Licensing and Disciplinary Board in Illinois.
