Reunion is more than just a celebration — it's is a powerful reminder of the resilience, compassion, and purpose that fueled your journey to becoming a physician. Reconnect with fellow Chicago Medical School alumni (classes ending in 5 & 0) and engage with the next generation. Through immersive tours, meaningful student connections, and engaging with the present, you'll rediscover the mission that brought you here — and the future it continues to shape. The reunion will also feature class-led dinners and culminate in the CMS Alumni Signature Event, including an alumni reception and buffet, and the prestigious Distinguished Alumni Awards presentation.

Early arrival on Thursday evening is encouraged. Hotel block at Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile, with a special group rate of $249 through August 28 or when the room block sells out.

Friday, September 19, 2025

• 8:00 am – 9:00 am Breakfast at the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile.
  Campus Experience participants staying at the hotel can enjoy a full breakfast buffet before boarding the shuttle to Ë®ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Franklin University. (Transportation provided.)
• CMS Campus Visit. Reminisce about your own medical school expericence as you step into an immersive journey showcasing how we're preparing tomorrow's physicians. Highlights include an interactive tour of our Virtual Health System and the Sheinin Anatomy Lab, the Dean's Luncheon and more –  all while engaging with CMS students. Return to the Chicago Marriott Mag Mile to relax before the evening’s festivities.
• 11:00 am – 2:30 pm Campus Highlights
  • CMS simulation interactive experience: Engage with our cutting-edge simulation technology and see the latest training methods for our medical students at our Center for Advanced Simulation in Healthcare. Learn about our plan and vision for our new virtual health system and expanded simulation that is underway.
  • Visit the the John J. Sheinin, MD, PhD, DSc, Gross Anatomy Laboratory, the location for all cadaver-based education for students. The anatomy lab supports the teaching mission of the university through its use as a large active learning space and also provides resources and support to any area of the university that requires content related to anatomy.
  • Networking Lunch with CMS Students, Fellow Alumni and Faculty
    Learn about current CMS initiatives and how CMS alumni support student success, and have made a difference in the lives of students by sharing their time, expertise and experiences.
  • CMS Admissions Today: Navigating the medical school admissions process. Discover what makes a great candidate in today’s environment.
• 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm Alumni Cocktail Hour
  Please join us for a toast in your honor! Cocktail attire at the Marriott Mag Mile.
• 7:00 pm CMS Alumni Class-led Dinners
  • 50th Reunion Medallion Dinner for the class of 1975 joined by the class of 1970 who missed out on celebrating in 2020. Location TBD in Chicago.
  • All other milestone reunion years will work with their class leaders on a restaurant location in Chicago. A reunion committee is needed to organize your dinner. Volunteer today.

Saturday, September 20, 2025

• 9:30 am – 10:30 am Coffee and Conversations
  Alumni-led discussion over coffee for all alumni and their guests. Topic TBD at the Chicago Marriott Mag Mile.
• 11:00 am – 12:00 pm Alumni Brunch
  Join us for an informal brunch at the Chicago Marriott Mag Mile.
• 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm Chicago Architecture Center River Cruise
  Wendella Tours & Cruises (Arrival 30 minutes prior required. The boat launch is a 6-minute walk from the hotel.) Voted as one of the Top 10 Boat Tours in North America by USA Today. Enjoy a beautiful 90-minute Chicago River tour and hear how Chicago grew from a small settlement into one of the world's largest cities in less than 100 years.
  
• 6:30 pm CMS Alumni Signature Event, River Roast, 315 N. LaSalle St., Chicago
  Cap off Reunion weekend along the Chicago River at River Roast. Enjoy a cocktail reception and a sumptuous buffet as we celebrate all returning alumni and honor our 2025 award recipients for distinguished career, service, and early career achievement. The festivities continue with a dessert buffet and more good cheer as we celebrate Chicago Medical School and you! Cocktail attire. (Transportation to/from the restaurant and host hotel provided.)
